I didn't even know about the recover post feature, but since it looked like Blogger had gone completely down between the time I began my post & when I finished it, I don't think it matters.
What's really frustrating is that before I posted, I had copied the entire post, but somehow I lost it out of the clipboard when I tried to paste it into a Word document.
the great thing about the "recover post" link is that it saves to a local cookie, and is therefor unrelated to what's happening with blogger or your browser window. oh, well. better luck next time. (still, very, very frustrating.)
