- Green Lantern: Passing the Torch by Judd Winick & Dale Eaglesham. (Checked out of the library.)
- DeadLands: The Way of the Gun by Steven Long & Steven Walmsley. This is about the time I started reading quite a few books that I don't expect to want to read more than once (i.e. so I can then sell them at Powell's). They're mostly role-playing books. This is one of them.
- The Eternal Champion, vol. 7: Corum: The Coming of Chaos by Michael Moorcock. A few years back, the fiction division of White Wolf published a nice set of books, reprinting Moorcock's Eternal Champion novels. I enjoy Moorcock's writing & slowly set out acquiring them. I got about half the series before White Wolf stopped publishing them. Now they're all out of print and selling for $50 or more (except this one, for some reason).
- Minidoka, 937th Earl of One Mile, Series M by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
- Anna & Eva by Jennifer Daydreamer.
- Mimura, the Village of Promises by Jim Pinto. This is a sourcebook for the Legend of the Five Rings role-playing game.
- Heavy Weather by P.G. Wodehouse. Amusing, but I think I enjoy his Jeeves stories more.
- Starman, vol. 9: Grand Guignol by James Robinson & Peter Snejbjerg. Another collection of one of the best superhero comics in the past few years.
- Arrowsmith: So Smart in their Fine Uniforms by Kurt Busiek & Carlos Pacheco. A WWI story set in an alternate world where magic works.
- Batman: War Drums by Andersen Gabrych, Bill Willingham, et al.
- Marvel 1602 by Neil Gaiman & Andy Kubert. What if the familiar faces of the Marvel Universe had started showing up in the early 17th century?
- Vogelein: Clockwork Faerie by Jane Irin w/ Jeff Berndt. (Library.)
- Unknown Armies: One Shots by various.
- The Black Monks of Glastonbury by David Chart. This is a dual-system adventure for the Ars Magica & D20 role-playing games.
- The Way of the Samurai by various. Another role-playing book.
- Expecting Beowulf by Tom Holt. A collection of two humorous fantasy novels.
- World of Darkness: Tokyo by Bruce Baugh & Mark Cenczyk.
- DeadLands Hell on Earth: The Last Crusaders by Shane Lacy Hensley.
- GURPS DeadLands: Weird West by Andrew Hackard & Stephen Dedman.
- GURPS DeadLands: Aces & Eighs: Dime Novel 1 by Michah T.J. Jackson.
- Swamp Thing, bk. 7: Regenesis by Rick Veitch. It would be wonderful if, in reprinting Veitch's run on Swamp Thing, DC were to finally publish the end of Veitch's storyline, but I doubt that's going to happen.
- Sleeper, vol. 1: Out in the Cold by Ed Brubaker & Sean Phillips. This book was a birthday present (thank you, Gemma & Dee!).
Okay, that takes me through the end of October, so that's a nice cut-off point for now. With any luck, I'll be caught up by the end of the year.
